Buddhist Meditation in London
Practising Buddhist meditation and ethics in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
"It is difficult if not impossible to practise the way of understanding and love without a sangha, a community of friends who practise the same way."
All are welcome to our mornings of mindfulness. We meet every Saturday at the Friends Meeting House, 8 Hop Gardens WC2N 4EH. Hop Lane is a pedestrian passageway adjoining St Martins Lane next to Gymbox. Nearest tubes are Leicester Square or Charing Cross.
There is a greeter at the door from 10am and it is best to arrive by 10.15am to allow time to settle before we start. There is no admittance after 10.30am and we finish by 1pm. You're welcome to stay for a cup of tea and a chat afterwards.
Mornings of Mindfulness
A typical Morning of Mindfulness consists of silent, guided and walking meditation, followed by a talk then mindful sharing. Mats, cushions and chairs are provided although you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
In the afternoon, we host Wake Up London. This is our group for under-35s.
The suggested donation is £7 but this is optional. This covers room hire, with any surplus going to support other sangha activities.
