Breathe! You Are Alive!
"It is difficult if not impossible to practice the way of understanding and love without a sangha, a community of friends who practice the same way."
Thich Nhat Hanh
We practice mindfulness in the tradition of the Vietnamese Zen master, Thich Nhat Hanh
Everybody is most welcome to join us for our mornings of mindfulness. We meet every Saturday morning in the Friends Meeting House at 52 St Martin's Lane (near Trafalgar Square, between Leicester Square and Charing Cross Tube stations). The entrance is at number 8 Hop Gardens, which is the lane that runs off St Martin's Lane between Côte Brasserie and the Gymbox. Press bell number 2. Mats, cushions and chairs are available. Please arrive not later than 10.15am, in time to settle before the start at 10.30am. If you are late, please do not ring the bell, but wait until someone opens the door at 11.00 - 11.15am
Mornings of Mindfulness
A typical Morning of Mindfulness consists of silent, guided and walking meditation, listening to a Dharma talk and mindful sharing. This part of the programme ends at 1.00pm. In the afternoon, we sometimes continue the day with the different mindful practices. Some afternoons, we host the Wake Up London group.
